Rental Agreement for Electronic Equipment This Rental Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") is entered into by and between Rent24 (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and the undersigned renter (hereinafter referred to as the "Client"). By signing this Agreement, the Client agrees to the following terms and conditions: 1. Rental Fees •Total Rental Amount: as per the rate communicated •Security Deposit: ₹2000 (Refundable, subject to the conditions outlined below). 2. Security Deposit •The Client shall pay a ₹2000 security deposit at the time of renting the equipment. •The deposit will be refunded within two (2) business days after the equipment is returned, provided it is in good working condition and free from damages. •Deductions from the security deposit will be made for: oDamages to the equipment beyond normal wear and tear. oLoss or theft of equipment. oLate return penalties, if applicable. 3. Client Responsibilities •The Client shall use the equipment solely for its intended purpose. •The Client shall not modify, disassemble, or tamper with the equipment in any way. •The Client agrees to keep the equipment in their possession and not sublease or transfer it to any third party. •The Client is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the equipment during the rental period. 4. Condition of Equipment •The equipment is rented in good working condition. The Client is required to inspect the equipment upon receipt and report any issues immediately. 5. Return of Equipment •The equipment must be returned by the agreed-upon end date. •Late returns are subject to a penalty fee ₹50 over the rent that will be charged for the day. 6. Indemnification The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rent24 from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the rented equipment. 7. Termination of Agreement The Company reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and reclaim the equipment if the Client breaches any terms. 9. Governing Law Confidentiality: The terms of this Agreement are confidential. Neither the Client nor RENT24 may disclose them without the other’s consent unless required to do so by law or an official authority. This obligation continues after this Agreement ends. Jurisdiction: All disputes, claims or differences arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be settled through mutual discussions and negotiations between the Parties, failing which, the matter shall be finally referred for arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended from time to time. The arbitral tribunal shall be composed of a sole arbitrator appointed with the mutual consent of the Parties. The place of arbitration shall be Sultan Bathery. The arbitration proceeding shall be held in English. 9. RENT24 is in no way involved in the Client’s business activities. In any case the Client is found to be indulging in practices that do not adhere to the law of the land, this Agreement stands terminated with immediate effect.
